Treatment
West Michigan Infusion Center administers medications ordered by physicians for their patients. We offer our services to Rheumatologists, Gastroenterologists, Orthopedic specialists, Family Practitioners, Internal Medicine doctors, OB/GYN doctors, and others. The treatment of various diseases is always evolving and changing, therefore it takes a multitude of caregivers working together to provide optimal care for individuals. We are the team that will administer the drugs that are intended to make you stronger.
When you arrive, Wendi and Caitlyn will greet you, get your vital signs, and get you situated in the chair you prefer. If it’s your first visit, some forms will need to be signed, but we will make it as easy as possible.
Dr. Peterson or Dr. Henry will meet with you and direct your care. Barb or Amanda will start your IV’s and administer your medications. We will be close the entire time and inform you about the medications you are receiving. You will be instructed in your particular drug and the side effects and care that you will need to do when you get home. You will always have a way to contact us if you have questions.
